Our Members

Our vision is to meet the health care needs of the diverse populations in the Nipissing District, including Francophones, First Nations, Inuit and Métis, as well as residents of urban and rural communities. Our partners, working together to create this new model of care, include Indigenous and Francophone health professionals, physicians and specialists in the areas of primary care, home and community care, hospital care, long-term care, mental health and addiction.

Acute Care

The role of collaboration amongst all members in the community and acute care is critical to improved patient outcomes.

Children’s Services

Children’s services are responsible for supporting and protecting vulnerable children. Where children are thought to be at risk of harm, children’s services will take steps which aim to make sure they are kept safe.

Digital Health

Digital health, for patients, means every health-care provider they see at different locations should be able to access relevant health record information quickly and efficiently.

Education

Studies have shown individual good health and education to be at the centre of a community’s overall health and happiness.

Francophone

We work in collaboration with the other networks nationally, provincially and regionally to promote the development of French language health services.

Home and Community Care and Community and Support Services

We are working together to improve the care services and access points you and your loved ones need.

Indigenous

Improving care and meeting the diverse needs of the Indigenous population.

Long-Term Care and Retirement Homes

Our partners continue trying to solve the ongoing pressures of wait-lists and staff shortages.

Mental Health and Addictions

Mental health and addictions issues, such as depression, anxiety, and substance use, are among the most common and disabling health conditions worldwide.

Primary Care

This team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, nutritionists, social workers, educators, and care coordinators.
