Equity Council

The Equity Council was created in 2021 and assigned with creating an internal and external framework to help inspire and facilitate meaningful change across the Nipissing region. The Equity Inclusion Diversity Anti-Racism (EIDA-R) Framework assists the council in developing strategic approaches to addressing systemic issues within the region. The council participates in equity conversations on a monthly basis with the goal of transforming the culture within health and social services to account for people of all backgrounds, race, sexuality, and class.

If you are interested in joining the Equity Council or have any recommendations for educational opportunities please email info@nipissingwellness.ca

Our Equity Inclusion Diversity Anti-Racism (EIDA-R) Framework informs the way that we do work across the OHT and is an important tool for the evaluation of our services.
